Mar'dyh
A reforming Sultanate whose people have been scattered and spread across Hydaelyn, though the former location was a prosperous island with merchants as a ruling family.
Royal Family
The telltale signs of Mar'dyh royalty is the bright pink eyes and the Mimi name. The one to reclaim status and begin the rebuilding is Fufumimi Mar Mimi. He's dignified and calculating, suggesting that there's more to the sultansworn and royal family than just ambitious merchants. There's a certain... organization to their methods to protect and nurture the fledgeling sultanate.
Enter the Sultanate of Mar'dyh
“Where loyalty is gilded, and power wears perfume.”Tucked behind velvet curtains and golden gates, beyond the bustling bazaars of Ul’dah, lies a kingdom of whispers, wealth, and winks that mean business. A place where the hand you kiss might also sign your pardon… or your disappearance.Welcome to the Sultanate of Mar'dyh, a regal empire built on tradition, loyalty, and just a pinch of organized mischief. At its helm sits the ever-dignified Sultan Fufumimi Mar Mimi, a man of noble stature and a hand in every corner of the realm. At his side — radiant and ever-so-sweet — is his daughter, Princess Mamimi Mimi. She's a quick-spoken songstress beloved by citizens and courtiers alike. She sings at festivals, blesses royal events, and brings light to a world that, perhaps, needs a little more of it. She knows nothing of backroom dealings, of hushed conversations over wine, or why certain names stop appearing; and she must never know.We are now recruiting loyal subjects, merchants, soldiers, and discreet professionals who understand the art of service – and silence to join our… family. Whether you're a wide-eyed adventurer or a seasoned dealmaker, there's a place for you in our house — as long as your allegiance is unwavering. What We Offer:
* Immersive RP centered around a reforming Sultanate (and a colourful royal family)
* Elegant court gatherings, private “negotiations,” and secret missions
* A family to protect and be protected by
* Lucrative operations (strictly unofficial, of course)What We Require:
* Loyalty. Absolute. Non-negotiable.
* Discretion — especially about "Family matters."
* Respect for Mamimi. Always. (Or else.)The crown rests on silk, but it’s guarded by steel. Power in Mar'dyh isn’t just taken — it’s offered with a smile, sealed with a ring, and guarded by those who understand the value of silence. Do you have what it takes to serve under the rose banner? To move in silk while pulling strings from the shadows? To toast at a royal banquet one night, and “clean house” the next?MarRP on Coeurl – The Mimi name opens doors. Some stay open. Others… not so much.
(Mamimi thanks you kindly for your service.)

Family Rules
1.) Loyalty to the Family Is Absolute
The Family is your blood, your life, your purpose. Betrayal—whether through disloyalty, betrayal to outsiders, or defiance of the Sultan’s orders—is punishable by death. No exceptions. If you turn on the Family, your own kin will hunt you down, and your name will be erased from our history. Example: If a soldier leaks information to a rival gang, they’ll be found with a pink oldrose pinned to their chest—a warning to others.2.) The Code of Silence
You speak nothing of the Family’s dealings to outsiders—not to the citystate authorities, not to friends, not without the Sultan's approval. If captured, you take your secrets to the grave. Snitches are dealt with swiftly: a dagger through the tongue, then a shallow grave.3.)The Sultan’s word is law.4.) Protect the Family’s Honor
You do not bring shame through cowardice, failure, or reckless actions that expose the Family to risk. If you fail a critical job (e.g., losing a shipment), you must atone through a “debt of blood”—a dangerous mission to regain the Sultan’s trust, or face exile (a death sentence in disguise). Example: A Soldier who fails to protect a safehouse might be sent to assassinate a rival boss as atonement. Or also some kind of job or favor to atone.5.) Master the Art of Deception
The Family thrives in the shadows. You must be a master of lies, stealth, and manipulation to outwit enemies and law enforcement. If you’re caught, you must convincingly play the innocent—or take the fall silently, per the code.6.) Avenge Your Kin
If a member of the Family is killed, it’s your duty to avenge them. The Sultan will assign a “rose’s vendetta”—a mission to eliminate the culprit, no matter the cost. Failure to avenge a fallen brother or sister is seen as weakness, and you’ll be stripped of your rank and branded a coward. (Stuff like that could make for some storylines with NPCs or people who want to make a 'rival' situation for throwaways)7.) Respect for Spouses and Property
Spouses of other members and property belonging to the organization or other families are not to be violated.8.) Honest Responses
When asked for information, members are expected to answer truthfully.
